A special ambassador reached Cairo with a message from the Prime-minister of India Indira Gandhi to the President of Egypt Anwar Sadat.

A huge fight broke out between the freedom fighters and the Pakistani military in Kosba. Beside Kosba battles arose between two party in Kayempur, Salda River, Noyonpur and Chouddagram. Battles went on whole day in Sylhet, Mymensingh, Rangpur, Bagura and Jessore border.

Freedom fighters commenced a huge attack on the base near the border of Komolpur, Mymensingh. They captured a large amount of weapons and ammunition from the Pakistani soldiers.

F-86 fighter plane of Pakistani military conducted severe attack on the positions of Freedom fighters in Mondovag, Mongolpur and Sripur of sector-2. With the help of artillery, Pakistani infantry also attacked these positions. Our brave Freedom fighters defended bravely against this combined attack. Pakistani casualties reached 58 after the 3 hour long battle. The Pakistani military was weakened by the counter attack of the freedom fighters and was forced to back away. 2 freedom fighters died in this battle and 9 others were injured.

A team of freedom fighters attacked on the Pakistani base in Shahbaz, Sylhet. 3 collaborators were killed and 8 others were injured. The freedom fighters came back to their base unharmed.

A platoon of freedom fighters attacked the Pakistani soldiers on the bridge-1 of Sarigoain road in Sector-5. 5 collaborators were killed and others fled leaving 9 303 rifles behind.

The collaborators in Kaliganj Bazar of Fulbariya were attacked by a team of freedom fighters. 30 collaborators were killed and 25 were injured.

In Nepal , Diplomat of Pakistan Embassy announced his obedience to Bangladesh Government.

The district administrators of Kushtia and Dinazpur Md. Shamsul Haque and Forashuddin Ahmed respectively, were relieved from their job for announcing their obedience to Bangladesh government.

It was said in an article of 'Times' that: "The war will get more severe in the future. 80,000 Pakistani soldiers has spreded into many places including Indian border. Also 60,000 freedom fighters and guerrilla teams are waiting to defend them."

Freedom fighters with rocket launcher and machine gun attacked on the head quarter if the Pakistani military in Kalirbazar village of sector-2. 12 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 4 other were wounded while 2 bunkers were completely destroyed. Our freedom fighters returned safely after the attack.

the freedom fighters commenced a heavy attack on the Pakistani military in Godabari and Sultanpur of Sector-7. 50 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 30 were wounded in this attack. One freedom fighter was wounded in this battle.

Freedom fighters ambushed a team of Pakistani soldiers in Kagmari of Boyra sub-sector of sector-8. This turned into a severe battle once the Pakistani soldiers counter attacked. 2 Pakistani soldiers were killed in this battle and several were wounded.

Indira Gandhi, Prime minister of India, said in a public meeting in Simla that, the refuges who came to India from Bangladesh has created a great risk for the peace in Asia. Pakistan has created a terrific situation in the border of India and Bangladesh. India is ready to fight this situation.

A special Bangladeshi govt. representative Justice Abu Sayed Chowdhuri was injured by the Urdu language speaking people in London when he was speaking to create supporters for Bangladesh in a conference .

After a sudden attacked at ShaldaNodi Pakistani Military’s four main camp from 3 side by the 2 no. sector’s freedom fighters, Pakistani Military fled from their position and take position to their another camp.
Senior warrant officer Beleyet (a freedom Fighter) then immediately went their by crossing the Shalda River with his forces and took position to the unused Pakistani Bankers. As a result, Pakistani Military were disconnected from their main position (Shalda Railway station). After that battle, Shalda River Railway Station had been free from Pakistani raider.

Freedom fighters threw fire from 3”mortar all the day to free the Gopalpur Thana from Pakistani raider but in vain.
After a failure mission, a twelve/thirteen years old youngest freedom fighter followed Major Hakim (a Pakistani Major) by disguising himself, then he
attacked by charging Grenade and was enabling to kill 8 Pakistani Soldier.

Freedom Fighters attacked Pakistani Raiders at the north-west border-village Chauka. Five Pakistani Raiders were killed in that attack.

Two platoon Pakistani Soldiers staying at Mathura Nagor were attacked by the 8 No. sector’s
Freedom fighters. After a four hours counter attack 15 Pakistani Raiders were killed and 4 were injured. On the other hand, three brave freedom fighters were injured.

A sub-sector named Betai’s freedom fighters (under the 8 no. Sector) attacked the Pakistani Raiders staying at Kam-deb-pur. In that attack, 30 Pakistani Raiders and their agent Razakars were killed.

A contractual agreement was signed between the two countries govt. (Pakistan-U.S.A) to provide 5 crore tk. for the people of East Pakistan.

Education Minister Abbas Ali khan asked before the Pakistani agent Razakars at Altafunnesa Field in Bagura that although there was good environment of living in country, India forced not to comeback our people. He emphasized on education after a belief of two-nation theory.

The guerrilla fighters attacked some patrol unit of Pakistani military in Ajnapur annd Jambari area, north of Comilla. 15 Pakistani were killed and 20 were injured. On the other hand 1 brave freedom fighter had died and 1 was wounded.

A team of 20 freedom fighters ambushed a team of Pakistani soldiers in Kumarshail, Sylhet. 4 Pakistani soldiers were killed in this commotion.

A guerrilla team of freedom fighters attacked a jeep of Pakistani military in Dhaka stadium area. 2 Pakistani officers were killed and the jeep was destroyed.

Freedom fighters conducted a rash operation against the Pakistani military in Pirgasa of Khulna. 3 Pakistani soldiers with 1 junior officer were killed in this operation.

Freedom fighters of sector-2 engaged themselves in a crossfire with Pakistani military in Nayanpur. 5 Pakistani soldiers were killed in this battle.

The freedom fighters cut off the communication of the Pakistani military by destroying the telecommunication system between Sachna and Shunamganj in Sylhet.

Chaired by Golam Azam, the 3rd meeting of Jmayat-e Islami Mozlishe Shura was held. A committee of 5 members was formed under the lead of Golam Azam to conduct the by-election of national and provincial legislative council. Other members of the committee are Nuruzzaman, Abdul Khalek, Golam Sarwar and Shafiqullah.

Some collaborators including A.Q.M. Shafiqul Islam, president of Muslim League Council, went to West Pakistan. They intended to visit several western countries including Canada to raise popular verdict for Pakistan.

The freedom fighters conducted a three way attack on the Pakistani military in Vatiapara of Kashiani, Gopalganj. 30 Pakistani soldiers and 20 collaborators were killed in this operation. As a result the Pakistani military took revenge on the freedom fighters by attacking them with helicopter. But they were forced to go back under the heavy resistance by the freedom fighters.

Vice-president Sayed Nazrul Islam and Commander-in-chief Colonel A.M.G. Osmani visited several camps of the freedom fighters. They congratulated the freedom fighters for their recent successful operations.

A platoon of freedom fighters in the Hakimpur sub-sector of sector-8 ambushed a Pakistani team near Kakdanga. 6 Pakistani died and 5 others were injured in this violent fire from both side. The freedom fighters returned to their base unharmed.

A platoon of freedom fighters in the Hakimpur sub-sector of sector-8 ambushed a Pakistani team near Shonabaria-Mandora.7 Pakistani were killed in this ambush.

A guerrilla team of freedom fighters attacked a launch of 3rd Panjab regiment near Kosba, Comilla. The Pakistani launch sank in this battle and many Pakistani soldiers were killed.

The guerrilla fighters commenced a sudden attack on a team of collaborators in the golf square near the Naval Headquarters in Banani, Dhaka. 4 collaborators were killed in this attack.

2 collaborators surrendered to in Benapole, Jessore.

The first conference of the so called re-habitation board was held, chaired by Governor Dr. A.M. Malik. A plan was formed to re-habitat the depreciated people and economic reform in this conference.

PDP asked the interested candidates of the next secondary election in a press release to submit their application.

A strong team of Pakistani military in Sector 2 moved towards the secondary camp of the freedom fighters in Anantapur and Dhanikunda. Pakistani military wreaked havoc with heavy cannons and mortars over the freedom fighters camp; at the same time Pakistani infantry attacked too. When they neared within 40/50 yards of the camp our freedom fighters counter attacked. 25/30 Pakistani soldiers were killed during this time. On the other hand, a few brave freedom fighters had died also. In the pressure of the battle the freedom fighters were forced to fall back from the secondary camp to their primary camp. They attacked from there with cannons and mortars. Pakistani raiders could not stand the pressure from the freedom fighters and ran away. 40/50 Pakistani were killed or wounded. One freedom fighters had died and 5 others were injured in this battle.

Soviet president Nikolai Podgorny came to an unplanned brief tour in New Delhi. He talked to the president of India, V. V. Giri and prime-minister Indira Gandhi in separate meeting. Before leaving New Delhi he said to Hanoy that, to reach a solution for the political problem of Bangladesh, Soviet Union will help in every possible way based on the India-Russia relationship.

The freedom fighters commenced a sudden attack on the Pakistani soldiers in Dhonbari, Tangail. Most of the Pakistani soldiers were either killed or wounded in this battle.

Freedom fighters ambushed with mines on the Komlapur-Bokshiganj road in Jamalpur. A Pakistani car was destroyed as a mine went off killing 7 Pakistani soldiers and wounding 6 others.

Freedom fighters ambushed a Pakistani raider team in Banpur sub-sector of Sector-8. 5 Pakistani soldiers were killed in this ambush while 4 others were wounded.

A guerrilla team of freedom fighters attacked the Pakistani military in T.V. sector of Raypur. A 6 hour long battle raised among them. 50 Pakistani soldiers and 60/70 collaborators were killed during the battle while 34 Non-Bengali EPR and collaborators surrendered. On the other hand, 7 freedom fighters had died during the fight.

Pakistan Government published a press-note regarding secondary election. The election was supposed to be held within 18th December 1971 to 7th January 1972.

U.S. government asked the congress to donate $15 million to Pakistan government in the name of re-habitation.

Freedom fighters combined forces and attacked 17 areas around Comilla, Jessore and Sylhet border. Hundreds of Pakistani raiders were killed or wounded in this sudden attack by the freedom fighters with mortar and cannon. The freedom fighters snatched many weapons from the raiders. They also attacked Kalipur, Porshuram, Khajuria, Shahpur, Kauamtola, Noyonpur, Bozzola, Horimongol, Chagolpur, Rajpur, Shaldanodi, Modhugram of Comilla; Radhanagar, Joyontipur, Rajghat of Sylhet and Hijlitoli villege of Benapole in Jessore.

The freedom fighters placed mines under a road in Fulpur-Haluaghat of Mymensingh. A tank of the Pakistani raiders was destroyed completely when it came in contact to a mine.

Freedom fighters' ambush team placed mines for the Pakistani military and were in position in Thakurgaon of Dinazpur. A truck loaded with food of the Pakistani raiders was destroyed completely when it came towards Thakurgaon and came in contact to a mine.

The brave freedom fighters conducted a rash operation against the Pakistani soldiers in Homna of Comilla. 5 police of the Pakistani military and 5 collaborators were killed in this operation. Afterward, 15 collaborators surrendered with weapons to the freedom fighters.
