Our freedom fighters returned safely after the attack.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; the freedom fighters commenced a heavy attack on the Pakistani military in Godabari and Sultanpur of Sector-7. 50 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 30 were wounded in this attack.             <description>&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;A strong team of Pakistani military in Sector 2 moved towards the secondary camp of the freedom fighters in Anantapur and Dhanikunda. Pakistani military wreaked havoc with heavy cannons and mortars over the freedom fighters camp; at the same time Pakistani infantry attacked too. When they neared within 40/50 yards of the camp our freedom fighters counter attacked. 25/30 Pakistani soldiers were killed during this time. On the other hand, a few brave freedom fighters had died also. In the pressure of the battle the freedom fighters were forced to fall back from the secondary camp to their primary camp. They attacked from there with cannons and mortars. Pakistani raiders could&amp;nbsp; not stand the pressure from the freedom fighters and ran away. 40/50 Pakistani were killed or wounded. One freedom fighters had died and 5 others were injured in this battle.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Soviet president Nikolai Podgorny came to an unplanned brief tour in New Delhi. He talked to the president of India, V. V. Giri and prime-minister Indira Gandhi in separate meeting. Before leaving New Delhi he said to Hanoy that, to reach a solution for the political problem of Bangladesh, Soviet Union will help in every possible way based on the India-Russia relationship.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;The freedom fighters commenced a sudden attack on the Pakistani soldiers in Dhonbari, Tangail. A 6 hour long battle raised among them. 50 Pakistani soldiers and 60/70 collaborators were killed during the battle while 34 Non-Bengali EPR and collaborators surrendered. On the other hand, 7 freedom fighters had died during the fight.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Pakistan Government published a press-note regarding secondary election.             <description>&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Freedom fighters combined forces and attacked 17 areas around Comilla, Jessore and Sylhet border. Hundreds of Pakistani raiders were killed or wounded in this sudden attack by the freedom fighters with mortar and cannon. The freedom fighters snatched many weapons from the raiders. They also attacked Kalipur, Porshuram, Khajuria, Shahpur, Kauamtola, Noyonpur, Bozzola, Horimongol, Chagolpur, Rajpur, Shaldanodi, Modhugram of Comilla; Radhanagar, Joyontipur, Rajghat of Sylhet and Hijlitoli villege of Benapole in Jessore.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;The freedom fighters placed mines under a road in Fulpur-Haluaghat of Mymensingh. A tank of the Pakistani raiders was destroyed completely when it came in contact to a mine.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Freedom fighters' ambush team placed mines for the Pakistani military and were in position in Thakurgaon of Dinazpur. A truck loaded with food of the Pakistani raiders was destroyed completely when it came towards Thakurgaon and came in contact to a mine.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&amp;nbsp;The brave freedom fighters conducted a rash operation against the Pakistani soldiers in Homna of Comilla. 5 police of the Pakistani military and 5 collaborators were killed in this operation. Afterward, 15 collaborators surrendered with weapons to the freedom fighters.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;</description>
