The Member of “Somoyer Proyojone” celebrated the Surrender Ceremony of the War Of Liberation 1971 at SHIKHA CHIRONTON with the Co-commander of the War of Liberation Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) A.K. Khandhakar Bir Uttam and other renowned Freedom Fighters. The freedom Fighters handover their flags to the new generations’ representative (Members of Somoyer Proyojone)

To ensure the speedy trial of War Criminals of 1971 "Somoyer Proyojone" made a human chain along with Sector Commanders Forum at Rayer Bazar Genocide Spot at 14 December 2011

“Somoyer Proyojone” observed the sacrifice day of the Great hero for the motherland Bir Shrestho Shaheed Seopy Hamidur Rahman with flowers and arranged a human chain in front of National Press Club calming the demand of repairing his grave on 28 October 2011

“Somoyer Proyojone” observed the sacrifice day of the Great hero for the motherland Bir Shrestho Shaheed Lyens Nayek Nur mohammad Sheikh at Jessore (Sarsha) with flowers and Visited the war spot of Nur Mohammad in 1971 at Gooalhati (Jessore) on 5 September 2011.

“Somoyer Proyojone” observed the sacrifice day of the Great hero for the motherland Bir Shrestho Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman with flowers on 20 August 2011.

Workplan for October

Workplan for October is as follows

1. Meeting with our members in Textile University, interaction with our new members

2. Placing a noticeboard of 'Somoyer Proyojone' in East West University which will contain the news of every day of 1971, information to create awareness etc.

3. Insisting people to use products made in our own country, Bangladesh.

4. To remember the sacrifices of our war heroes (Bir-Shrestho), 'Somoyer Proyojone' will show respect with flower on the tombstone of Bir-shrestho Sepoy Hamidur Rahman on 28th October, his passing day.

5. To create an article on life and stories of Bir-shrestho Sepoy Hamidur Rahman and publish it, so that every Bangali can remember him and show respect to his memory.
